What happens if the vehicle has a flat battery?

  1. A.The battery will leak acid into the engine.
  2. B.The battery will have to be replaced.
  3. C.The engine will not start.
  4. D.The head light bulbs will have to be replaced.
Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C. The engine will not start.

All motor vehicles have a battery to supply power, primarily to start the engine. If the battery is flat, the driver will not be able to start the engine in the normal way. When the engine is running, it produces its own electricity to recharge the battery and run the various electrical components, including lights, heating, the radio and so on. If the battery is completely dead it will have to be replaced.
